Born in 2007, MARU became a global social media sensation and even a tourism ambassador in Japan. Though MARUTARO passed away in 2024, his legacy of joy and positivity continues through $MARU, a token created to honor his influence and iconic status as a beloved figure.

$MARU has been taken over on Oct 2nd, 2024 by group of enthusiasts with various skills to build the community from the ground up and to continue Marutaro's legacy to spread joy and positivity and achieve financial freedom for the Maru community.
Needless to say, there have been and there will be many tokens with similar names being created all the time in multiple blockchains. We are not only determined to be the main Maru token, but to be one of the most respected tokens in the meme space.
